For my research blog I have decided to chose the animation studio that produces some of my all time favourite animated cartoons - Warner Brothers. Focusing mainly on their television cartoons, I will look intensively at classics such as Looney Tunes and Animaniacs. To begin with, I will do brief background research on Warner Brothers as a company. Once I've done this I will start by looking at the cartoons that have made the studio great - looking at what makes them so appealing to their targeted audience with their slapstick narratives and lovable characters as well as their staying power (still showing re-runs to this date).
By the end of my research I hope to have learned not only more about the animations Warner Bros create but also the people behind the cartoons and the things that motivate and inspire them to create the work they do. I am also interested in looking at their relationships with other studios - including fleischer studios and how this has helped the studio grow within the world of animation production.
